We are a small bed and breakfast in the heart of the Hoosier national forest. We've been in business since 1995. Our location is in the country so your stay will be quiet and unhurried. Nature walks, quiet contemplation and sincere conversation are the order of the day. Local attractions include the French Lick Scenic Railway, the West Baden Dome, The French Lick Winery and Vintage Restaurant, Patoka Lake, Paoli Peaks ski REsort, Spring Mill State Park, and many more. Our history is short by some standards but the Locust tree (the largest in Indiana) is estimated to be 250 years old. The property has been in the Lindley family since the 1930's. The present home was built in 1994 so expect a clean modern environment. Flowers are amazing in season. We have three guest rooms with two sitting rooms. Big Locust is completely non smoking.
