Homespun Country Inn
This turn of the century Queen Anne style Inn was built in 1902. The large front porch is most inviting to sit and relax on after a busy day of site seeing. The quarter sawn oak foyer invites guests into the main floor common rooms. Leaded glass adorns the windows in both parlors and the stain glass windows in the dining room are an added touch to this comfortable setting. The five non-smoking guest rooms, on the second and third floors, were named for the original occupants of the house. Room amenities include, private baths, cable tv/vcr, WiFi and central air conditioning. A full breakfast is served by candlelight in the dining room. Early morning coffee and teas are available an hour before breakast. The Inn is within walking distance to local antique and specialty shops. Amish Acres and Dutch Village are just a mile west and we can map an area of the many cottage businesses in the country that have much to offer. We will pre-arrange a one hour tour and demonstration with Henry Chupp at his shop. See his creativity of this old world craft that he has perfected over several decades. You will also take with you a hand carved trivet as a remembrance.
