The Lanning House (a post Civil War home built by Dr. Lanning) and the 1920 Annex are a part of the Salem Museum are called the John Hay Center. Hay was Lincoln's secretary. Salem is 45 minutes from Louisville, Kentucky and near Madison, Spring Mill Park and Corydon's state capitol. Great for genealogical researchers, history lovers, and antique buffs. Seven rooms are available.
