Thall River Guest House is right on the Blue River in Harrison County, Indiana. Many years ago nearby Corydon was the very first capitol of Indiana. It has much history to explore, quaint shopping around the square, and many restaurants and specialty shops.
Jasper, Indiana, is within a two-hour drive and has deep-rooted German culture, including the famous Schnizelbach Restaurant and annual summer Strassenfest. The German-influenced architecture is also pleasing to the eye.
French Lick, Indiana, now has its own casino. The whole adventure of French Lick is sure to please, both in gambling fun and the delicious buffet served in beautiful surroundings.
Milltown, Indiana dates back to the 1800s and has a few remnants of the old mill present today. The Blue River provides sport canoe action. Cave Country Canoes is located in Milltown and provides canoe adventures from Spring through Fall. Blue River Cafe is just down the street from Cave Country Canoes and has a delicious menu to choose from.
