For summer fun, spend time hiking, horseback riding, or mountain biking in the Hoosier National Forest. In French Lick you'll be able to play golf, be pampered in the spa, or try your luck at the gaming tables. You will find Lincoln's boyhood home a short drive from Ferdinand. Take a walking tour of downtown Jasper and see the historic courthouse, vintage hardware, quaint shops, and grand churches. Visit New Albany's Main Street where you will marvel at the late 19th century mansions including the Culbertson Mansion, a three-story French Second Empire style structure. The Howard Steamboat Museum in Jeffersonville is housed in the 22 room, 3 story Howard mansion built in 1890.
